Prof. Dr. Vera Galishnikova

Dr. Vera Galishnikova is the Prorector of the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering and a visiting professor of the Department of Civil Engineering of the RUDN University. She serves as an Academician since 1991. In the past Dr. Galishnikova served in Volgograd State University of Architecture & Civil Engineering (Russia) and Michigan State University (USA). Prof. Vera Galishnikova took her engineering education in Saratov State Polytechnic Institute (Saratov, Russia), and specialized in Civil Engineering. She received her first PhD degree from the Moscow Institute of Civil Engineering in 1991, and in 2004 second PhD degree from the Michigan State University. Prof. Galishnikova received her DSc degree from the Supreme Attestation Commission of Russian Federation in 2016. Computational Civil Engineering; Building information modelling; Topological computer models of buildings; Computational mechanics of complex steel structural systems – latticed plates and shells, thin-walled plate and plate-rod structures; Nonlinear finite element analysis of space frames; Nonlinear stability of structures; Structural renovation and complex modernization of buildings etc. are the main fields of her research. She is member of some professional and academic societies, such as American Society of Civil Engineers (USA), Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars (USA) etc., and President of the Society of Academician of Fundamental and Applied Sciences (Russia).
Prof. Dr. Shimaa Badawy

Shimaa Badawy Ph.D, is a Professor of Agronomy and Physiology in Crop Science at Agronomy Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Kafrelsheikh University, Egypt. She received her PhD in “Agronomy” through a cooperation program between Kafrelsheikh University (Egypt) and Greece Cereal Institute (Greece). She performed postdoctoral research at University of Milan, Italy. After her graduation, she worked as a faculty member at Kafrelsheikh University (Egypt) and at University of Milan (Italy).
She has been responsible for the evaluation of several plant nutrition and participated in many international and national projects. At the same time, the team has a reasonable structure and rich research experience. She has more than 35 research papers in highly reputed international journals and conference proceedings and received three Recognition and Professional Awards. Additionally, she was involved in the management of various training courses which was delivered to various audiences namely researchers, university students and extension engineers.
Prof. Badawy is a board member of the International Network for Water and Ecosystem in Paddy Fields (INWEPF) Egyptian Committee, Egypt. She has been a head of research group for conducting research projects in Agronomy Department Faculty of Agriculture, Kafrelsheikh University, Egypt. Badawy is a member in the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World. She is a head of department of Media and Publishing Section at Quality Assurance Center, Kaferelsheikh University, Egypt and Reviewer at Frontiers Plant Science. She is a member in IRC Scientific and Technical Committee & Editorial Review Board on Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering.
Her research group is primarily working on Agronomy and Physiology in Crop Science, Crop Ecology, Climate Changes and its impacts in Agriculture, Sustainable Agriculture, Plant Nutrition and Nanotechnology Application in Crops.
